01/13/11 Selvin's $1,106 Best Play Trifecta Capped Strong Week

Something good happened every racing day last week (Thurs.-Sun.) with Bob Selvin's Best Plays. Last Thursday it was Sporting Art at $11.20; Friday it was Startjumpin Marnie at $7.40 + $48.40 exacta (for "extra tickets"); Saturday it was Gladiatrix at $4.00 + $13.60 exactas. He put the cherry on top last Sunday with co-top Best Play Catchy Tune, 8/1 on the program, 9/2 on his fair odds line...and off EXACTLY at 9/2...returning $11.80. When co-top Best Play Speeler was in the photo, it gave him a one-two finish that keyed a $6 (max play) trifecta ticket ($304 investment) that returned $1,106.
