08/08/10 Selvin Has Three Good Hits (Two Best Plays) on Sunday Card

On a tough card that resulted in a $178,834 Pick 6 carryover for Wednesday, Bob Selvin managed three good hits and hit both of his Best Plays. One of them was one of two daily doubles (races 4 & 5) which paid $82.40. In the (5th), his co-top Best Play Island Run, 4/1 co-fair odds FAVORITE, who he specifically said �would get overlooked in the betting,� paid a WHOPPING $21.40 as a huge overlay and keyed an $86.60 Best Play exacta payoff. In the (9th), even though Best Play top horse Gold Trim wasn�t one-two, he suggested a rare four-horse Best Play exacta box and the 8-11 combo paid off at $146.60 when No Dream sprung the upset.
